How do you draw students to attend a day-long conference on a Saturday?

 TEDxPsu needed branding that would raise hype on campus, draw attendance, and interest donors.

 As Director of Design, I was in charge of keeping the project on track. I also assembled, led, and worked beside our powerhouse design team (Sarah Becker, Kendall Spangler, and Jenna Brillhart).

 The conference theme, "Push to Start" has many possible interpretations, but in all instances it symbolizes the push to start moving from potential to kinetic energy to manifestation.

 We developed a branding system that alludes to the imagination and a futuristic voyage through uncharted landscape. We designed all event materials (from the program to the stage design) to carefully mimic this design system, creating a unique and cohesive experience for attendees. 

We developed a branding system that alludes to the imagination and a futuristic voyage through uncharted landscape. We designed all event materials (from the program to the stage design) to carefully mimic this design system, creating a unique and cohesive experience for attendees. 

 We made custom illustrations of the keynote speakers with the most buzz and hung them around campus to help drive ticket sales.

 It worked! The event sold out, and videos from the conference have reached over 150,000 views online.
